Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers has been released as the latest flight simulator title to come for Linux gaming.

Two months back I wrote about a new flight simulator flying to Linux and today that title has finally arrived. Developed by Games Farm, Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers is a World War II flight simulation game that first came to Windows, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3 one year ago.

The Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers game has received mildly positive reviews and features both single-player and multi-player campaigns. Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers is available via Valve's Steam Store for a price of $19.99 USD. It's not the best flight simulator out there, but with so few being natively available for Linux, it's nice to see another quality non-FPS game reach Linux via Steam.

The Linux release just happened today and it's been working for some gamers while the developers have acknowledged there's been some issues in the initial roll-out, so stay on the lookout for Steam updates.
