Valve Works On Polishing Steam's Big Picture Mode

With Steam Machines and SteamOS just around the corner, Valve released a big update this week to their Steam client.

This latest Steam client update has a number of updates to the "Big Picture" mode including numerous fixes, improved reliability when encountering network errors, and more. For Steam itself this latest update also has improved connection ping for selecting Steam servers to connect at logon, improved performance when updating lots of game meta-data, a new My Games library filter in the desktop UI, and various fixes.
