ModemManager 1.0 Release Supports QMI & MBIM

ModemManager, the network modem component for NetworkManager, has finally seen its 1.0 stable release. ModemManager 1.0 brings with it many new features including a new tool and support for QMI and MBIM devices.

ModemManager 1.0.0 represent years of work and includes a brand new D-Bus API, a new libmm-glib library for writing GLib-based C applications around the modem component, a new mmcli command-line interface for tapping ModemManager functionality including SMS messaging, and has support for QMI and MBIM devices. The QMI and MBIM model support comes via the new libqmi and libmbim libraries.
