While NVIDIA just introduced a new Linux graphics driver to support the day-old OpenGL 4.4, AMD just released a new Catalyst Linux Beta that finally delivers full support for OpenGL 4.3.

AMD has released a new "Catalyst OpenGL 4.3 Beta Driver" where the new highlight is "full support for OpenGL 4.3", not to be confused with the just-announced OpenGL 4.4 specification from Khronos.

Besides completing the OpenGL 4.3 compliance, this Linux driver blob update resolves issues with Source Engine games, Maya 2011-2013, Unigine Heaven, and Left 4 Dead 2.

More details on this new AMD Catalyst Beta release can be found from this forum thread with the Linux x86/x86_64 download links.
