A new feature to the Mir display server being developed by Canonical for Ubuntu Linux is the Compositor Report.

The Compositor Report isn't really an end-user feature but will be useful to developers and enthusiasts interested in the performance of Mir. The initial "CompositorReport" that was merged into mainline Mir on Friday provides useful logging information. Among the new information now reported is the composition frame-rate, frame time (render nd post), and pause/resume.

The new compositor reporting feature can be enabled by setting the "--compositor-report=log" option for Mir.
