Axel Davy has implemented support for the X.Org Server's new Present Extension within XWayland.

Axel Davy had been working on DRI3 support for XWayland and now with the initial Direct Rendering Infrastructure 3 work out of the way he hooked in Present support. For those unfamiliar with the X.Org Present Extension that landed in X.Org Server 1.15 with DRI3, read this earlier article and many other related articles on the matter.

There's still some improvements to be made with the XWayland Present support but the current patches can be found on the Wayland-devel mailing list.
