FOSDEM 2014 is this coming weekend in Brussels. FOSDEM is one of my favorite open-source / Linux events in the world -- as is also a favorite by many others -- with a plethora of interesting content ranging from end-user talks to low-level technical discussions.

FOSDEM this year is taking place on the 1st and 2nd of February in the always wonderful city of Brussels, Belgium. While I am usually at the Free Open-Source Developers' European Meeting, unfortunately this year I am not due to other travel conflicts, reduced ad revenues due in part to those using AdBlock, etc. At least some videos and slides should emerge from the event so I will be writing my thoughts on that information following the event. I also do have some sources that will be on the ground in Brussels providing additional information.

For those that will be in the region next weekend, check out FOSDEM.org for additional event details. I highly recommend checking out this great open-source event. There will once again be the X.Org/Graphics dev room and I hope to receive lots of that information remotely for providing coverage on Phoronix due to the aforementioned constraints this year.
