Unvanquished Alpha 21 Brings Many Game-Play Changes
The very promising open-source open-source Unvanquished first person shooter game that's powered by the Daemon Engine is now out with its latest monthly alpha release.
Unvanquished Alpha 21 doesn't change too much on the engine / renderer side that excites me the most, but there's still some notable activity that happened in the past month for this November 2013 development release to the Tremulous successor.
Among the Unvanquished Alpha 21 changes are redesigned human armour, building changes, unlocking changes, and other game-play changes. Other Alpha 21 improvements include small improvements to shadow and lighting with better accuracy and faster rendering speed and input-related bug-fixes as a result of Unvanquished being ported to the SDL2 library.
More details on the Sunday night release of Unvanquished Alpha 21 can be found via the project's blog post.
