Pitivi was recently ported to GTK3 and the GStreamer Editing Services, which was delivered to users with Pitivi 0.91. Pitivi 0.92 is now available as the latest 1.0 pre-release and it brings many corrections for users of this open-source video editing software.

Pitivi 0.92 doesn't bring any super exciting new features but is the second alpha release to be powered by GStreamer's GES. Pitivi 0.92 has fixes for broken transitions, handling of rendering parameters, keyframes UI in the timeline, usability improvements, updating the preview immediately when adding effects, fixed AppData XML, build and packaging fixes, a drop of the PyXDG dependency, and translation updates.

Pitivi 0.92 is codenamed "Baby Steps" and more release information can be found via its Git release tag from Sunday.
