WAYLAND
Interesting in the Wayland camp this week has been lots of discussions about the XDG-Shell proposal but besides that, a patch-set just appeared that finally adds alt-tab support to Wayland's Weston compositor and also updates the exposay feature.

Emilio Pozuelo Monfort published more than one thousand lines of new code this morning across nine patches that work on alt-tab and exposay for Weston. The exposay feature for Weston was previously reported on as part of Raspberry Pi Wayland work and scales all currently-open windows to be shown overlaid across the desktop. It's a nice means of windows switching.

The other big improvement for window switching is Emilio having implemented an alt-tab switcher for Weston's Shell.

Those fresh patches can be found on Wayland-devel and will hopefully make it into Weston 1.4. At the same time, GNOME 3.12 is running along on Wayland.
