WAYLAND
Just earlier today I had written about Perl bindings coming for Wayland and now announced on Sunday afternoon is wlcppgen, a generator to generate a C++11 wrapper to the Wayland client-side protocols.

The latest language interface to Wayland's protocols are C++11 via this just-announced wlcppgen open-source project. Pure C++11 code is generator and the generator itself is customizable and supports Wayland's extensions protocols too beyond just the core protocol.

The wlcppgen project is under the ISC license and was announced to the developers by Dennis Hamester. This Wayland C++11 wrapper generator is hosted on GitHub.
