For users of Guile as the GNU extension language written around the Scheme programming language, there now exists OpenGL bindings.

While the number of individuals wanting to write code for OpenGL in a Scheme-based language may be rather limited, Andy Wingo announced the GNU Guile-OpenGL 0.1.0 release this morning. GNU Guile-OpenGL 0.1.0 is the first (alpha quality) release of this software project formerly known as "Figl" but now considered an official GNU project.

GNU Guile-OpenGL quite simply is about providing OpenGL bindings for Guile.

The project site with more information can be found at GNU.org.
