Valve has announced the latest version of the SteamOS "Alchemist" Beta with their update 96 release.

Among the changes for this latest SteamOS update -- which includes re-spun ISOs and ZIP images -- are fixed performance/stability for wireless on Gigabyte Brix systems, a Bluetooth driver for the Gigabyte Brix, dynamic passthrough support in PulseAudio, support for detecting Hybrid Graphics configurations, various bug-fixes, and the AMD binary graphics driver has been updated to Catalyst 14.1 Beta 1.3 from upstream Debian Jessie.

The Gigabyte Brix system that saw improved support with this update is a bare-bone mini-PC that's been quite popular. There's several different Gigabyte Brix models with varying hardware specs and the size isn't too far of from the excellent Intel NUC.
