Jolla's Sailfish operating system is now available for those that wish to run their ported Mer-based mobile Linux platform on Google Nexus 4 smart-phones.

Setting up Sailfish OS on the Google Nexus 4 is far from being user-friendly and the results after that may vary with how well the Jolla Linux OS runs on the Android-designed device, but it's out there for those interested. It was last month that Jolla talked about bringing Sailfish to Nexus devices for those unable to get their hands on Jolla's first smart-phone designed by former Nokia employees.

Instructions for setting up Jolla's Sailfish OS on the Nexus 4 can be found at JollaUsers.com.
