The first beta of KDE Frameworks 5 is now available.

KDE Frameworks 5, which makes up the foundation of the next-generation KDE stack, is now in beta ahead of the planned official release in June. KDE developers have also introduced a "Porting Aids" group that provide kdelibs4 modules and APIs being deprecated but can assist applications in porting to KDE Frameworks 5. These KF5 Porting Aids will only be present for three release cycles.

More information on today's KDE Frameworks 5 Beta release can be found via the KDE.org announcement.
