Ubuntu 14.04 LTS "Trusty Tahr" Officially Released

The official release announcement has finally been sent out for today's release of the Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr" Long Term Support release.

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS ships today with a revised Unity 7 desktop and numerous additions there, many under-the-hood improvements, is riding off the Linux 3.13 kernel / Mesa 10.1 / GCC 4.8.2, and also has seen a lot of work over the past six months on the Ubuntu server and cloud offerings.
