Digia has put out a new Qt 5.3 update in hopes of being able to release the major tool-kit update next Tuesday.

If all goes according to plan, we will see the official Qt 5.3 unveiling next Tuesday, 20 May. A new snapshot was released today to encourage last minute testing. If nothing serious is found, today's snapshot will be the final packages otherwise Digia will need to spin new packages and this will push back Tuesday's release.

Those wishing to test out this hopefully final snapshot of Qt 5.3 can find the necessary testing info via the Qt development list.

Qt 5.3 is a bi-annual update to the Qt5 platform and with this release comes many exciting Qt 5.3 features we have been covering on Phoronix for the past few months.
