After eight years of working at Canonical, Jono Bacon is stepping down as the Ubuntu Community Manager at the end of May.

While Jono still loves Ubuntu and insists he's leaving Ubuntu/Canonical on great terms and will stick around as an Ubuntu member, he's decided to take up a job at the XPRIZE Foundation. At the XPRIZE Foundation, Bacon is to serve as the Senior Director of Community.

Congratulations to Jono and those wishing to learn more can read Jono's blog post.
