While we're looking forward to upcoming Wine 1.7 releases for Direct3D command stream work (performance improvements), more Direct2D work, and other improvements, the next Wine (v1.7.20) release has been delayed.

The Wine 1.7.20 release was anticipated to come next Friday, 30 May, but as a note for habitual Wine updates that release is likely going to be pushed back two weeks. Due to one of the Wine developers being on holiday, the next Wine release is being anticipated for release not until two weeks later, on Friday, 13 June.

The Wine 1.7.20 delay notification and other brief Wine updates were shared yesterday via the latest issue of the World Wine News.
