It looks like on Wednesday will be Canonical's first big Ubuntu Phone/Mobile announcement since the failed Ubuntu Edge crowd-funding campaign.

A Canonical press representative sent out invitations today for an invite-only conference call happening next Wednesday. Since it doesn't appear to be privy to any NDA, it reads, "Mark will be providing the first major update on Ubuntu’s plans for the mobile space since Canonical’s milestone crowdfunding campaign to develop the ground-breaking Ubuntu Edge smartphone."

Stay tuned and we will be on the call next week to see what Mark has to say about Ubuntu's next plans for their mobile ambitions.
