VALVE
One week ahead of the Game Developers Conference, Valve has a new Steam Controller.

Valve has been hard at work on the Steam Controllers for the past few months to accompany Steam Machines and next week at GDC in San Francisco they will be showing off their latest prototypes. I'll be out at GDC for two days so will be sure to check them out and their latest Steam Linux plans.

Valve says they're hand-building ten of their latest Steam Controller prototypes for showing off and soliciting feedback. Those curious to see photos can see this Steam Community entry.

There's no word yet on expected availability of Steam Controllers for mass consumption or other new Steam Machines plans. Stay tuned for more details next week.
