OpenELEC 4.0 Beta 2 Is Out This Weekend

The XBMC-centered OpenELEC multimedia home Linux distribution has moved a step closer to its major 4.0 release.

OpenELEC 4.0 features bug-fixes and package updates, the latest XBMC 13.0 "Gotham" development code, new/updated hardware firmware files, some updated networking support, and various fixes.

Those interested in OpenELEC as a HTPC/multimedia Linux distribution centered around XBMC and are willing to test out its latest beta state, more details on this free Linux distribution can be learned at OpenELEC.tv.
