Oracle Finally Releases Java 8

At long last Oracle has officially made available Java 8.

Phoronix reader "DanLamb" pointed out that Java 8 is final as of today. Java 8 is a huge update to the programming language that adds in lambda expressions, parallel programming enhancements, security improvements, and other new programming language features.

Java 8 was in a release candidate state since last month while today Oracle declared the latest state as gold.
