Rich Geldreich has shared some screenshots of their VOGL OpenGL debugger in action when debugging an OpenGL problem with Xonotic.

VOGL is very exciting and complementary to APITrace for debugging Linux OpenGL issues. Valve open-sourced VOGL earlier this month and since then has seen many improvements.

Those wishing to see what the Qt5-based VOGL debugger looks like can visit Rich's blog.

This week at the Game Developer's Conference, several people there were talking up VOGL and were saying quite fond words about this debugger for assisting Linux game developers, particularly those porting their games to Linux or OpenGL for the first time.
