KDE Plasma 5 Officially Released

Just days after the KDE Frameworks 5 release, the KDE development community is scoring an on-time release of the new Plasma 5!

Plasma 5.0 is out today with its new converged Plasma shell, modernized launchers, workflow improvements, better HiDPI support, and a ton of other visual improvements to the KDE desktop.

The official KDE Plasma 5 announcement just went live at KDE.org. More details can also be found at dot.kde.org and embedded below is a Plasma 5.0 preview video.
