While LXQt is making great progress, version 0.7 of the GTK-based LXPanel was released recently and it boasts a number of changes.

The Lubuntu team pointed out the LXPanel 0.7 release. Among the changes to this GTK+ desktop panel is a new "launch taskbar" plug-in, various other plug-in changes, support to drag applications from the system menu plug-in, improvements to reported sensor names, and many other changes. The LXDE Ubuntu derivative is planning to package the LXPanel 0.7 release shortly.

The full run-down of LXPanel 0.7 changes can be found via the LXDE.org Git.
