COREBOOT
As of today there's now mainline Coreboot support for 64-bit ARM (AArch64) thanks to work originally done by Google.

Back in April is when Google/Chromium developers originally added support for ARM64 into the Coreboot framework, based on the existing 32-bit ARM support. However, only today is that work now being added to mainline Coreboot. Per this Git commit, "Add support for enabling different coreboot stages (bootblock, romstage and ramstage) to have arm64 architecture. Most of the files have been copied over from arm/ or arm64-generic work."

With these patches hitting mainline Coreboot, let's hope that it's signaling some Chromebooks coming to the market sooner rather than later that are relying upon the latest 64-bit ARM Cortex designs... Over here at Phoronix we're getting very anxious to benchmark 64-bit ARM on Linux.
