The plan is to release DragonFlyBSD 3.8 in early June.

The DragonFlyBSD kernel has now been branched from master for the 3.8 release, thus bumping the Git for DragonFlyBSD 3.9 development.

Justin Sherrill shared on the mailing list that some release candidates will come shortly, and if there's no roblems, to release DragonFlyBSD 3.8 on 4 June.

Big to DragonFlyBSD 3.8 is Radeon DRM/KMS driver updates, new USB support, other new hardware enablement, and plenty of fixes and optimizations. Benchmarks will come in short order after the official DragonFlyBSD 3.8 release.
