Unity 3D Engine Is Receiving A New UI System

The developers behind the Unity 3D game engine are planning to introduce a new UI system this summer with the Unity 4.6 update.

Unity 4.6 brings a new UI system with new layout and anchoring system, new UI graphics components, and a powerful canvas. More information on Unity's new UI system can be found via the Unity 3D blog post and their Unity 4.6 UI preview video that's embedded below.
