Linux Mint 17 MATE & Cinnamon Versions Officially Out

The MATE and Cinnamon editions of Linux Mint 17 "Qiana" have now been officially announced.

After noting yesterday there were Linux Mint 17 ISOs released but without any official release announcement, the proper communication has came out today to officially announce Linux Mint 17 as stable before ending out May.


There is Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon and Linux Mint 17 MATE as the two desktop options right now for this popular Linux distribution based upon Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
