There's some new test profiles to exploit for your next round of open-source, Linux testing.

Some new tests hitting OpenBenchmarking.org were:

build-webkitfltk - This is a timed compilation test to time WebKit FLTK, due to its lower number of dependencies and being easier to build. This test profile was contributed by the same developer as the one behind the Opera-inspired Fifth web browser for Linux.

stockfish - Stockfish is a very advanced chess engine. Stockfish is written in C++11, can be optimized well for modern CPUs and can scale up to 128 cores, and overall is a very interesting stress test.

These two are just alongside our hundreds of other tests and suites hosted on OpenBenchmarking.org.

This week there's also tons of interesting work continuing to flow into Phoronix-Test-Suite on GitHub. The official Phoronix Test Suite 5.4.0 release will hopefully be ready next week. Read our Lipki articles if you're not up to speed on the many improvements for Phoronix Test Suite 5.4, particularly around the open-source Phoromatic Server work.
