Emil Velikov has released the third weekly release candidate to Mesa 10.4 that's expected to be officially released in December.

This third release candidate brings just a handful of fixes over 10.4-rc2, including fixes for R600 Gallium3D, Nouveau's NV50/NVC0 drivers, Intel i965, and other areas of Mesa.

Mesa 10.4 is overall a big update to the open-source Linux graphics driver stack as already documented and benchmarked in dozens of Phoronix articles over the past three months. Coming up in December I'll be recapping more of the Mesa 10.4 changes and performance improvements.

Mesa 10.5 is tentatively scheduled to debut next week on 5 December, per the earlier plans.

Mesa 10.4-rc3 details can be found via this mailing list post.
