The reported Linux market-share was reported for November at 1.13%, which falls within the usual range seen for Steam Linux gaming that's generally between 1.1% and 1.2%. No real change to increase the Linux market-share would be anticipated until SteamOS-based Steam Machines are widely launched, any AAA Linux launch titles premiering ahead of Windows, or any other fundamental changes to cause Windows gamers to convert to Linux.

Ubuntu 14.10 64-bit gained the most over the past month given that it just debuted at the end of October while Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS then receeded a bit.
