For those sticking to the GCC 4.8 compiler series rather than the newer GCC 4.9 stable series, the GCC 4.8.4 release is now available.

As usual, GCC 4.8.4 just provides various bug/regression fixes over the earlier GCC 4.8 code. More than 80 bugs are reported to be fixed by this new point release.

The brief GCC 4.8.4 release announcement can be found via the GCC mailing list.
