Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition was released this week for Linux at the same time as the Windows, OS X, and Android releases.

"Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition, the ultimate version of this heroic tale, features the Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster expansions, remastered high-resolution artwork, spells and kits from Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, and cross-platform multiplayer," reads the announcement. The Linux and Android releases actually come ahead of the Icewind Dale iOS release.

Icewild Dale was originally an RPG released for Windows back in 2000 based with a Dungeons & Dragons setting.

The game is available on Steam for Linux at a price of $19.99 USD.
