LINUX GAMING
Back in June we wrote about the War Thunder MMO game coming to Linux and today -- on the second anniversary of Steam for Linux -- the game has publicly surfaced for gamers. This war combat game is free-to-play while still being in its beta state.

War Thunder is an online multiplayer combat game that's been in open beta for Windows since 2012. War Thunder features aircraft, armored vehicles, and ships ranging from the Spanish Civil War through the Korean War. War Thunder has been in development since 2009 by Gaijin Entertainment when back then it was known as World of Planes.

War Thunder is free-to-play and Linux gamers can play against Windows, OS X, and PlayStation 4 users. War Thunder is being released just for 64-bit Linux. The game is available for download from the game's web-site while the Steam Linux support will be released at a later date.
