Mesa 11.2.0-rc3 is now available via Git as the latest weekly test release to this upcoming major Mesa release.

Mesa 11.2-rc3 was tagged over the night by release manager Emil Velikov with a handful of bug fixes over the past week. Mesa 11.2-rc3 is primarily made up by Nine (D3D9) state tracker fixes while there is also a VirGL change to support passing the render condition flags to the host, RadeonSI and R600g each had a fix, and a few other small changes.

Mesa 11.2 is shaping up to be a very nice three-month update to Mesa and is currently planned for release around the end of the week unless an additional release candidate becomes warranted.

Looking ahead to this summer, there is already excitement building around Mesa 11.3, which may become known as Mesa 12.0 as it's looking like core Mesa could hit a new OpenGL 4 level. The Intel Mesa driver is also close to getting caught up with the RadeonSI and Nouveau NVC0 OpenGL levels, etc. As always, when Mesa development advances occur, you can read about them on Phoronix.
