Two years after starting work on the Arrays of Arrays support via crowd-funding, Timothy Arceri pushed a bulk of the work into mainline Mesa.

Over the summer the remaining bits of AoA was getting finished up with Arrays of Arrays support being required for OpenGL 4.3.

Now as of a short time ago in Git, it looks like a bulk (if not all, but the GL3.txt has yet to be updated) has been tackled for the ARB_arrays_of_arrays extension. The multi-dimensional array support is exposed with OpenGL ES 3.10 and GLSL 4.30. The other recent AoA commits can be seen here.

Timothy Arceri's next Mesa focus is on OpenGL 4.4's ARB_enhanced_layouts extension.
