Subversion 1.4.0 has been released, which delivers on several new features for this open-source revision control application. Subversion 1.4.0 includes BDB 4.4, repository auto-recovery support, and a new tool for synchronizing repositories (svnsync). There are also several speed enhancements and bug fixes.
