With Fedora Core 6 coming out tomorrow, over at the Redblog I have published a patch to allow the latest ATI fglrx drivers (8.29.6) to run successfully on FC6. This patch is needed in order for the RPMs to build correctly, and a how-to guide is available that documents all of the steps needed to setup the drivers. Simply download the script from the blog, and if all development libraries are installed, the script will automatically update the packaging scripts and take care of everything. This should allow for a much smoother upgrade experience. The blog entry can be read here.
