Mozilla Firefox 45.0 is now available as the newest version of this open-source, cross-platform web browser.

While many have been looking forward to Firefox having GTK3 by default, this is sadly another release where Firefox GTK3 gets disabled as the default behavior.

Firefox 45 removes removes Tab Groups / Panorama, Firefox Hello now supports tab sharing, Synched Tabs support for displaying tabs on other open devices running Firefox, WebGL now supports programs / shaders / uniforms / attributes / frame-buffer / render-buffer, and the Web Speech Synthesis API is now supported on the desktop. The WebGL work has been part of Firefox's work on WebGL 2.0.

More details on today's Firefox 45 release can be found via developer.mozilla.org.
