UBUNTU
The second Beta for Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake LTS (Long Term Support) has been released. This release coming just days after the initial Beta release, corrects serious flaws with the installer present on the first desktop CD. At this time Beta 2 is available for Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and Edubuntu. Xubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake Beta 2 is not yet available, but will arrive shortly. Xubuntu is of course the new Ubuntu derivative that is light-weight and ships with the Xfce 4 desktop environment rather than GNOME or KDE. The Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Beta 2 announcement is here.
