NVIDIA Releases 352.30 Linux Driver

NVIDIA released the 352.30 Linux graphics driver this morning that adds support for one GPU plus has a handful of bug-fixes.

With this being a minor update to the stable NVIDIA 352 Linux driver series, there isn't too much to get excited for today. The 352.30 driver adds support for the GeForce 910M Maxwell GPU and has a handful of bug-fixes. The fixes include some problems related to VDPAU, a rare deadlock when running OpenGL applications in multiple threads on a Quadro GPU, and some X related issues.


The NVIDIA 352.30 Linux driver can be downloaded from NVIDIA.com.

Meanwhile, NVIDIA will soon be introducing their 355 Linux driver series, which will feature a new build system as part of their initiative in supporting KMS and ultimately Wayland/Mir support. More details on the NVIDIA 355 Linux driver as they become available.
