NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit Offered For SteamOS
Today while setting up some CUDA benchmarks, I noticed that CUDA 7.5 is now officially available for SteamOS.
I'm not sure when exactly it was added, but I don't recall it being there before... SteamOS is now listed besides Fedora, openSUSE, RHEL, CentOS, SLES, and Ubuntu as a supported Linux distribution for the NVIDIA developer CUDA toolkit. Currently supported is just SteamOS 1.0 Beta and not the newer SteamOS 2.0 derived from Debian Jessie. It's interesting they list SteamOS but not upstream Debian.
The CUDA 7.5 package for SteamOS is a 1.1GB .run file. You can find it at developer.nvidia.com.
