KDE 4.0 Release Candidate 2 is now available and is the last stop before the release of KDE 4.0 final on January 11, 2008. This release includes fixing the outstanding major and minor bugs, completing the artwork, and smoothening out the user experience. The release announcement for KDE 4.0 RC2 can be read at KDE.org. Next month at the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA, Phoronix will be providing media coverage of the KDE 4.0 release event.
