GNOME
We're just a little over three months out from the release of GNOME 2.22, but today marks the release of the GNOME 2.21.4 release. GNOME 2.21.4 is the fourth unstable/development release, but is significant in that we have now entered the string and UI change announcement periods for GNOME 2.22. Two of the interesting highlights with GNOME 2.21.4 include Metacity receiving the new compositor by Iain Holmes and swfdec now supporting Flash thumbnails while browsing files within Nautilus. The 2.21.4 release announcement can be read in full on the gnome-announce-list.
