KDE 4.0.1 Bug-Fix Release Now Available

Back at the KDE 4.0 release event the KDE 4 release schedule was announced with maintenance releases coming every month leading up to the release of KDE 4.1 in July. In the first of these maintenance releases, KDE 4.0.1 is now available for download. KDE 4.0.1 contains a variety of bug fixes as well as updated and new language translations. The fixes mentioned in the KDE press release state improved KHTML rendering in Konqueror, stability fixes all over the KDE code-base, and KWin has improved detection of compositing support. The KDE 4.0.1 press release can be read at KDE.org.
