WINE 1.0-rc4 was released last Friday and today the news coming out of
WINE HQ is that WINE 1.0-rc5 -- the final release candidate before
WINE 1.0 -- will be released tomorrow. Following the release of RC5, WINE 1.0.0 is expected to enter this world just a few days later. In this announcement, it was also mentioned that WINE 1.0.1 is planned for release in one to two months time.
The WINE 1.0 blocker bug list hasn't been cleared, but four more bugs have recently been fixed. Five new bugs have been deferred as blockers for WINE 1.0.1 and 20 bugs have been set as part of the work towards WINE 1.2.0 (there's no ETA on that release).
