O'Reilly's OSCON 2008 conference is taking place in Portland, Oregon this week. At Phoronix, we are media partners with O'Reilly this year for this leading open-source convention that takes place annually at the Oregon Convention Center. Today and tomorrow at OSCON are mostly just tutorial sessions, but beginning tomorrow night we'll be providing live coverage of the keynotes, sessions, and parties on Phoronix.

The second Ubuntu Live conference was supposed to happen today and tomorrow as well, but sadly it was canceled. More on OSCON 2008 can be found on the O'Reilly website.
