While there are already lots of exciting work within Mesa's Git master repository for Mesa 7.11 within core and classic Mesa along with the Gallium3D area, for those users sticking to stable releases, Intel's Ian Romanick has announced the releases of Mesa 7.9.2 and 7.10.1.

These two stable releases just back-port bug-fixes to those living in stable Mesa 7.9 and Mesa 7.10 environments. However, as most Phoronix readers into open-source graphics are living on the constant bleeding edge, today's releases aren't particularly exciting. Of more interest will be Mesa 7.11 in a few weeks time. Sadly though, Mesa 7.10.1 is likely what will end up making its way into Ubuntu 11.04.

The Mesa 7.10.1 release announcement can be found on the mailing list along with the one for Mesa 7.9.2.
